A little bit about me. NOTE: the following answers are subject to change (and have changed) as time passes and I grow as a person.
Gates of Fire. The Lord of the Rings series is great too (though the movies are better, sorry Tolkien). As far as non-fiction is concerned, The Elements of Computing Systems by Noam Nisan and Shimon Schocken is a great read.
As a trilogy, the Lord of the Rings. As an individual movie, The Social Network.
Java and the C family (C, C++, C#). Python is good for Machine Learning and scripting, not a fan of it otherwise.
Intellij for Java development, Visual Studio Code (VSCode) for anything else.
Linux obviously (distro doesn't matter, find whatever works for you). MacOS is decent but has many inconveniences, and it runs with Apple peripherals which is a big minus. Windows is only good for gaming, the more I use it as a developer, the more I hate it.
Heroes of Might and Magic III, Rome Total War, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Runescape. Counter Strike is pretty good too. Dota 2 is dead to me.
All history is fascinating, regardless of the period or the place, but the ancient world holds a special place in my heart (from the creation of the Achaemenid Persian Empire in 550BC to the collapse of Western Rome in 476AD).
Mediterranean cuisine and Mexican food. Anything wrapped in a tortilla and is spicy is good in my book.
